The Estacada School District is seeking a Paraeducator to support and work closely with our High School students by assisting teachers with core instruction and promoting student success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent, and an Associates Degree, or 72-hours of college

coursework or Instructional Assistant Certificate (Work Keys, Praxis, Paraeducator

Assessment-title I) are required to perform the responsibilities of the position.

Mandt Relational and Technical Skills Training (in-district training) within 6 months of

employment.

Participate in and meet expectations of professional development provided the district

for paraprofessionals.

Willingness and capacity to work with students who may be physically impaired, have

learning challenges, including social/emotional lagging skills.

Demonstrate a growth mindset and desire to learn and apply new skills through

professional development, collaboration and working with other dedicated professional

educators.

Must have a positive, student first, 'can do' attitude.

Multi-task effectively while navigating multiple distractions and interruptions throughout

the day.

Set a good example, and be a positive role model appropriate to a school setting.

Must pass Fingerprint-based Criminal Background check that will be required at

employee's expense upon offer of employment.
