Daycare Assistant/Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker/Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Responsibilities Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, and infant care settings Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Monitor and manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful interactions and good conduct Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere Assist children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized support as needed Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs in an inclusive setting Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents or guardians Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where children thrive!
