Responsibilities:

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
• Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with special needs or disabilities

Qualifications:

• Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA), or, AA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field, with a minimum of 18 credits in ECE or Child Development
• PA Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Clearances required
• Physical and TB required

Experience:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development and educational theories
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
• Experience working with children with special needs, including Autism, is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
