Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for seven compassionate and dedicated professionals to work as Paraprofessionals in a dynamic educational setting for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. These full-time contract roles support students and teachers across a range of disciplines, including transition, emotional, and intensive autistic support, as well as early intervention. These positions offer the chance to make a daily impact in students' lives, working closely with caring teams that value individualized attention and positive learning environments. Immediate interviews are being scheduled, and each role is designed to provide stability, meaningful work, and a consistent weekday schedule through the end of the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional, teacher assistant, or personal care assistant, ideally in a school setting Understanding of supporting students with autism, emotional needs, or developmental differences Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents Compassion, patience, and a flexible approach to daily challenges Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced educational environments High school diploma or equivalent; additional credentials or training in special education are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers and students in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional tasks Provide one-on-one and small group support as directed Help create a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere Support students with transitions, routines, and classroom engagement Collect data and document student progress, communicating regularly with the team Foster independence and confidence for every student Openings include positions focused on transition autistic support, emotional support (multiple roles), intensive autistic support, and early intervention. Schedules are consistent and family-friendly, with start times between 8:00 and 8:15 AM and end times from 3:00 to 3:30 PM.
