Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated School Age Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during before and after-school hours. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and well being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives through active supervision, creative activities, and supportive mentorship. Duties Supervise children during before and after-school activities ensuring their safety at all times through effective child supervision and behavior management. Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor activities that promote childhood development, teamwork, creativity, and physical activity. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive environment conducive to learning and fun. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, following established protocols to ensure health and safety. Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and team members regarding children's progress or concerns while documenting incidents or noteworthy observations. Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a respectful and inclusive environment. Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred but not required. Willingness to obtain CPR certification, AED operation, and First Aid Excellent team leadership skills with the capacity to motivate colleagues while maintaining a collaborative approach. Pay:
