Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits those passionate about supporting students' growth and success for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. Seven paraprofessional positions are now available to help meet the diverse needs of a vibrant school community. These full-time contract roles start as soon as possible and extend through the end of the academic year, offering a deeply meaningful experience alongside dedicated educators and staff. Current openings cover a variety of areas, including Personal Care Assistant roles in Transition Autistic Support, Emotional Support, and Intensive Autistic Support, as well as Teacher Assistant opportunities in Emotional Support and Early Intervention. Whether your strengths lie in providing individualized care, classroom assistance, or supporting early learners, there's a position that will fit your talents and ambitions.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience serving as a paraprofessional, PCA, or teacher assistant in a special education or general education setting Patience, empathy, and the ability to foster trust and encouragement in students Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and student needs Experience with students with autism, emotional support needs, or early intervention is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and assistance to individual students and small groups as assigned Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Assist lead teachers with classroom management, instructional activities, and documentation Support students' social-emotional and academic objectives, adapting strategies as needed Maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Gain valuable experience, make a real difference, and enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with a supportive team.
