Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits a licensed Physical Therapist passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This full-time, contract position is based in a vibrant school setting near Norristown, PA and is dedicated to supporting students' physical growth and independence throughout the current academic year. Work collaboratively within an educational team that values innovation, communication, and student-centered practices.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster strength, mobility, and function Provide direct therapy and consultative support in both group and one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into IEPs and daily routines Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust strategies as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Active Pennsylvania PT license, or eligibility for licensure in progress Previous experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, educators, and families This position features competitive weekly pay for skilled Physical Therapists, especially those with experience in IEP-driven environments.
