Funtastic Childcare Center is now hiring a full-time assistant for our Pre-K classroom. We are looking for a dependable person with a positive outlook who has strong classroom management skills. Our Pre-K children are eager to play and learn with the guidance of an interactive leader who will work well with their teacher. Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans. Supervise and engage with children during activities and playtime. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean and safe classroom and center environment. Communicate with parents about children's progress and daily activities. Help organize and participate in special events and field trips. Monitor and document children's behavior and learning milestones. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. Passion for early childhood education and child development. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential. Background check clearance required.
