Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants and toddlers in a Montessori classroom setting. This role is essential in fostering a positive classroom atmosphere and ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive. Duties Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual students. Support classroom management by maintaining order and encouraging positive behavior among students. Engage with children during activities, promoting social skills and teamwork. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual learning needs. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in training sessions related to early childhood education, behavior management, and special education practices. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent support for students' development both at school and at home. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Montessori experience preferred. Familiarity with special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and implement behavior management techniques effectively.
