Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers. Provide attentive care that includes feeding, diapering, nap time supervision, and health monitoring to ensure each child's well-being. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance techniques. Engage children in playful learning activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage exploration of their environment. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed at all times, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational environment that supports individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom experience preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior management effectively. Experience with infant care, toddler care, caregiving, babysitting, nannying or related roles demonstrating patience and nurturing qualities. Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude.
