Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster curiosity, social development, and foundational skills in preschoolers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist Teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children with their activities, encouraging participation and fostering social skills Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral issues Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings preferred Clearances & Certification in CPR required (School reimbursement) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to nurturing young learners Join us in creating a joyful, supportive environment where children can thrive! SCHEDULE
Hours 9am-4pm Monday though Friday, total hours range from 15-30 hours/week and can fluctuate. Summer & holidays off, school discount, paid snow days, sick & personal time.
Pay:
$14.00 - $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
