Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the preschool and toddler age range.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and create a supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the individual needs of each child are met.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
- Create a stimulating and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and techniques.
- Experience working with children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
