Through the End of the School Year We are seeking Certified Special Education Teachers to support K-2 Autistic Support classrooms in Berks County, PA. Position Overview These are Verbal Behavior (VB) support classrooms that follow Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction, classroom leadership, and case management support for students receiving special education services. Each classroom is staffed with two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) , with additional support from a BCBA, Instructional Coach, and Autism Support Specialist throughout the week. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to K-2 students in an Autistic Support classroom Develop and implement instruction aligned with students' IEPs Provide case management support and maintain required documentation Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies Support students' academic, communication, behavioral, and social development Collaborate with RBTs, BCBA, instructional staff, and related service providers Implement strategies consistent with the classroom's VB/ABA approach Communicate effectively with school staff and student support teams Qualifications Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for the position Experience working with students with autism and/or significant support needs Ability to provide case management support Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an elementary Autistic Support (AS) classroom Prior experience with Verbal Behavior (VB) instruction Experience working within an ABA-based educational program What You'll Get Two RBTs assigned to each classroom Ongoing support from a BCBA, Instructional Coach, and Autism Support Specialist K-2 elementary Autistic Support setting Consistent 8:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule Monday-Friday schedule ASAP start Contract opportunity through the end of the school year Apply today for immediate consideration.

Pay:

$42.00 - $46.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.5 - 35.0 per week

Experience:
