Job Description

Michael Inzelbuch is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a practice dedicated to advocating on behalf of students with disabilities and their families in special education matters. The position will focus heavily on legal research, brief writing, motion practice, and written advocacy in connection with special education litigation. We are looking for someone who is an excellent writer, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to effectively advocating for children and families. This is a hybrid position. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Draft legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents Conduct legal research relating to special education and disability law Assist with case strategy and preparation for special education litigation Review records and develop factual and legal arguments on behalf of students and their families Work closely with Michael Inzelbuch on active matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent attention to detail Strong work ethic and ability to manage assignments independently Special education litigation experience preferred, but not required Litigation, appellate, clerkship, or other significant legal writing experience is a plus
Compensation & Schedule Salary:
Commensurate with experience
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys substantive legal writing and wants to use those skills to advocate for students with disabilities and their families.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Lakewood, NJ 08701
