9680974-02865 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Paraprofessional in a dynamic high school environment near Lincoln, RI. This onsite, full-time position is set to begin on or around October 6th and last approximately four to six weeks. The role involves working within a transition program, assisting students with daily academic and personal tasksincluding toiletingso compassion and professionalism are key.

Key Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associates Degree, or completion of the ParaPro Exam, or possession of a valid TA Certification. Previous experience supporting students in a school setting, especially in a transition program, is strongly preferred. Ability to assist with personal care responsibilities such as toileting in a respectful, dignified manner. Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members. Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and student well-being.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work directly with students in the transition program, offering consistent support throughout the school day. Help facilitate class activities, implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide academic accommodations. Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with basic physical needs, including toileting, mobility, and hygiene, as required. Support student independence and skill development under the guidance of teaching staff. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal time for students.
