Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Teacher's Assistant / Behavior Aide in a vibrant school community near Pawtucket, RI. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027, offering you the opportunity to make a daily impact in young learners' lives. Working Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 3:45pm, you will collaborate closely with educators and specialists to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Your background in paraprofessional support or as a behavior specialist will help you guide students, reinforce positive behaviors, and contribute to individualized education plans. You'll receive weekly pay ranging from $18-22/hour, and comprehensive healthcare benefits through Soliant, ensuring you have the security and support you need to focus on students' success.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree, or successful completion of the Rhode Island Teaching Assistant exam Experience as a paraprofessional or a behavior specialist in a school setting preferred Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor Strong collaborative and communication skills Ability to assist with classroom management, behavioral interventions, and academic support
Key Responsibilities:
