Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as an ABA Teaching Assistant/Paraprofessional. Youll work collaboratively within the classroom to implement behavior support plans and help children thrive academically and socially. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 18, 2027. Expect a total of 35 hours per week, with a daily 30-minute lunch break. Your assignment will be matched following the interview to ensure the best fit with your strengths and interests. The majority of openings are in elementary settings within the Providence area.
Key Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience providing behavioral support in an educational or therapeutic setting High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a RIDE-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program (unless exempt with higher education credentials) PLUS one of the following: Passing scores on the ParaPathways Assessment (332+ Reading/Writing, 334+ Math) 48+ college credits from an accredited institution An Associates degree or higher National BCI completed is highly preferred for immediate consideration
