Qualifications & Experience:
At least one year of experience delivering behavioral support in an educational environment High school diploma or GED required Completion of a RIDE-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program (or exemption via higher education) Meet one of the following: Passing ParaPathways Assessment (minimum: 332 Reading/Writing & 334 Math) 48+ college credits from an accredited institution Associate's degree or higher National BCI completed is strongly preferred for immediate consideration
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Implement behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of certified staff Work collaboratively with educators, specialists, and families to support student success Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and behavioral management plans Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
