We serve children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, fostering a nurturing environment that supports growth and development. Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through positive interactions and behavior management Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and nap times to ensure safety at all times Help with classroom organization, including setting up materials and cleaning up after activities Provide care and attention to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention Maintain open communication with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Childcare certifications such as First Aid or CPR are highly desirable Previous roles such as nannying or babysitting that involved caring for young children are valuable experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers Join us to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while growing your career in early childhood education!
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
