Job Description

Job Summary Fairview Early Childhood Center is a Christian faith-based program dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where infants can grow, learn, and thrive. We are committed to supporting each child's development while integrating Christian values into daily care and learning experiences. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with infants, supports a positive classroom environment, and is comfortable working withing a Christian-centered setting. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, tummy time, and social interactions for infants (ages 6 weeks-12 months) Support infants with their basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure a safe and caring environment Help maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards at all times Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, exploration, and early learning skills Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping manage routines smoothly Collaborate with families and staff to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that supports diverse needs Uphold and model Christian values in interactions and classroom culture Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required: CDA or early childhood coursework preferred Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through nurturing care and educational activities Must meet all state licensing requirements (background checks, central registry clearance, and health screenings) Join us to inspire young minds from their very first moments! Pay:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
