INFANT DESCRIPTION
Schedule would be 9am-6pm The Infant Teacher shall be responsible for the following: Work with assigned group infants applying best practices for infant care alongside co-teacher Facilitate and nurture the development of each child's self-esteem, trust and growing autonomy Respond quickly to children's different and personal needs (verbal and non-verbal cues), temperament styles and abilities Document individual needs, strengths, interests, attendance, and complete daily report for each child through our Brightwheel App. Assist in planning and implementing lesson plan activites that are developmentally appropriate for class. Prepare materials that are concrete and relevant to the children's education Prepare the infant/toddler learning environment for children to learn through active exploration and interaction with adult caregivers. Review and carry out health plans for special diets, allergies, medication administration, etc. Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, parent meetings, in-service training, and other meetings as directed. Perform daily closing duties in room such as cleaning all toys, bouncers, cribs, sweep, mop, and take out trash. Other duties assigned. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to work as a team member. Flexibility and ability to plan and supervise caregiver staff. Provide leadership and guidance to assistants and parents. Ability to problem solve and organize. The usual customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires sitting, walking and standing.
HS DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT FELXIBLE SCHEDULE AT LEAST 1 YEAR MIN EXPERINECE WITH INFANTS PREFERRED FIRST AID/CPR CERTIFIED PREFERRED
