OakSong NATURE School is hiring one Full-Time Toddler Teacher.
Available positions:
Full-time, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Compensation:

DESCRIPTION
Love and care for the children at all times. Maintain and follow all required minimum standards laid out by the state of Texas. Assist in developing a curriculum that is child-led with the assistance of our Reggio curriculum director. Follow the daily schedule, but be flexible. Decorate the classroom and keep it clean and orderly. Create daily summary reports for children, including a photo or video. Participating in parent communication. Meeting children's basic needs (diapers, attention, etc.)Be familiar with and follow all school policies and licensing rules. Report any suspicion of child abuse or neglect. Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the position in order to offer children and parents consistency.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. approximately 100 times per day/shift. Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, hearing, talking, and repetitive motion are physical requirements of the position.
Qualifications:
Meet and exceed all state Child Care Licensing requirements Previous experience in childcare, toddler program, teaching, or other related fields Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organization skills, problem-solving ability, and desire to learn and grow as an educator Ability to build rapport with children, families, and peers. Be patient and loving. OakSong School provides an early-life experience that lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and personal growth. We aim to provide the natural child with a safe, prepared environment to learn what the mind and heart desire, while encouraging each child to discover what makes them unique. Ability to lift one hundred times a day up to forty pounds. Ability to be outside two to four hours a day (rain or shine). Bilingual welcome (English & Spanish)
