Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelors degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field Active teaching certification with appropriate special education endorsement Experience working with alternate curriculum and/or life skills classrooms Strong communication skills, compassion, and adaptability Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Willingness to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel Familiarity with both elementary and high school populations is a plus
