We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Life Skills Paraprofessional to join our team at Eustace Primary School. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational and developmental needs, helping them to acquire essential life skills and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs for students, under the supervision of a certified teacher.

2. Provide support to students in daily activities, including personal care, classroom tasks, and social interactions.

3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure a consistent and comprehensive approach to student development.

4. Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.

5. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.

Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.

2. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing student needs.

3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive educational environment.

4. Patience and resilience, with the ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and understanding.

Certifications:

The successful candidate will hold relevant certifications in education or a related field. Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
