We're looking for an Assistant Teacher who is caring, dependable, and eager to grow in the Montessori philosophy. What We're Looking For A passion for working with children and a genuine respect for their individuality Willingness to learn and embrace the Montessori way of teaching At least 6 months of experience working with children in a group setting (preferred, but not required) Excellent communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude, flexibility, and reliability Ability to follow directions and support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a peaceful, engaging classroom Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to speak, read, and write English CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Your Role & Responsibilities As an Assistant Montessori Teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Lead Teacher and creating an environment where children feel safe, respected, and inspired to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Lead Teacher with classroom activities and preparing materials. Helping maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment. Observing and guiding children respectfully, promoting independence and positive behavior. Supporting individual and group activities in line with Montessori principles. Communicating with the Lead Teacher and following classroom routines. Maintaining confidentiality regarding children and families. Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. What We Value Passion for children

Work Schedule Our school is open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM , and Assistant Teachers work a 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break . Schedules may vary based on classroom needs, so flexibility is important.
