A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
We are looking for motivated and excited support staff to join our team. Support staff is responsible for supervising and interacting with children in a variety of age groups and to assist teachers as needed, help cover rooms when a teacher is absent, and/or to help cover teachers during their lunch while the children nap. Positive communication and relationships with co-workers, children, and families are important. Will work with all age groups from 6 weeks to age 5. This position is Monday-Friday, 9AM to 6PM. Promotion to assistant teacher may be available based on performance.
