The assignment runs from ASAP through May 29, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours at a single campus (placement determined upon selection).

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher OR At least 48 college semester hours from an accredited agency (TX Education Agency or regional agency) and completion of the paraeducator course through Stedi.org with a passing score of 70% or above Experience working with children or youth who have hearing loss (pediatric or school-based strongly valued) Bachelor's degree preferred Fingerprinting and background check required for credentialing compliance

Your Role:

Provide ASL interpretation and support for students with hearing loss, fostering communication between students, staff, and peers Adapt instructional materials and classroom activities to meet individualized student needs Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education, and related service providers Maintain organized records and assist with progress monitoring Engage positively with families and support student participation in various school activities
