To Be Determined Job Description Basic Function and Responsibility:
Facilitates teacher-provided academic enrichment lessons and activities for Cub Club students in a safe, engaging afterschool environment. Provides supervision and classroom management while supporting student participation and positive behavior. Assists with transitions, materials and daily program routines.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work well with children Ability to communicate effectively Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
Experience:
3+ years experience working with elementary aged children
Criminal Record:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Instructional Support:
Provide instruction to students; work with individual students or small groups. Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom. Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment. Help keep records and prepare required reports.
Student Management:
Help supervise students throughout the afterschool program, inside and outside the classroom, including playground, and other related activities Keep Site Coordinator informed of special needs or problems of individual students.
Professional Effectiveness:
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. Maintain confidentiality. Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance. Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned. Follow district policies and procedures pertaining to the job assignment.
