Job Description
The Mechatronics program at Utah Valley University is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support instructional activities within the department. This position provides an excellent opportunity for current UVU students to gain academic experience while contributing to the success of Mechatronics courses. If you are a motivated UVU student seeking meaningful academic experience and enjoy supporting peers in their learning, we encourage you to apply! Grade student work for Mechatronics (MECH) courses in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner. Follow grading rubrics and instructions provided by course instructors. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling student assignments and records. Must be a current UVU student. Successful completion of MECH courses with a B or B+ grade, or approval from the course instructor. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and the public. Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and standard Internet applications. Ability to use email effectively, including attaching files, retrieving messages, and managing communication. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established grading standards.
