Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a part-time Childcare Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you will support the developmental growth of children by engaging them in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Whether you're guiding toddlers through their first steps or assisting infants with their daily routines, your impact will help shape joyful and confident learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education and caregiving. Duties Provide attentive care and supervision to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with team members to monitor each child's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's development. Assist in classroom organization, material preparation, and maintaining documentation related to childcare activities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, classroom environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training is supported. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and creating inclusive learning spaces for all children. Ability to engage children through nurturing interactions while maintaining professionalism and patience. Relevant qualifications include early childhood education coursework or certifications; classroom experience is advantageous. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 27.5 per week
