General Statement of Duties Under the guidance of the classroom teacher, the Instructional Assistant provides essential support with the implementation of the instructional program. Essential Duties Provides one on one instruction or tutoring with students Provides behavioral support to students Assists with classroom management and behavior modification Assists with field trips, community-based instruction, and other activities Assists students with personal care tasks, Assists with creation, organization, and distribution of instructional materials Reports student concerns directly and promptly to the teacher and assists with student resolution Assists with breakfast, lunch and snack, including clean-up Performs other duties as assigned Regular attendance is required Additional Information This position is a temporary position working no more than 29 hours per week. Schedules are assigned by the building principal.
