•February 12, 2027 We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher Assistant to support students in a K-2 Autism Classroom near Hamilton, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping young learners develop academically, socially, and behaviorally in a supportive educational environment.

34 hours Responsibilities Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional and behavioral support plans Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students Help reinforce academic, social, communication, and life skills Support students with daily classroom routines and activities Promote a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet student needs Qualifications High School Diploma required or Passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment Experience working with children or students with special needs preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $16
