Job Description
•Great part-time opportunity for High school students/college students The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Lansdowne center is seeking an energetic and organized individual who loves children to assist the Instructor in running our Kumon center. The Lansdowne Kumon center operates as an after-school Math and Reading Program for children ages 4 to 18 years old. Assistants are responsible for assisting the Kumon Instructor in grading worksheets, observing student's learning, and student instruction. Paid training will be provided. A Math and Reading test will be given (before hire) to determine qualification. The tests are equivalent to Algebra I for Math and 8th-grade competency in Reading.
Requirements:
Able to work in the US- At least 16 years old. Competency equivalent to Algebra I and 8th grade Reading Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children Ability to work afternoons/early evenings and Saturdays. (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 4:15pm-7:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am-1:00pm)For consideration, please send your resume via email.
