This role focuses on providing dedicated support to elementary-aged students, both one-on-one and in small groups. Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred Ability to build rapport with young learners and encourage positive behavior Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to a picturesque rural location Flexibility, patience, and strong communication skills High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification as a paraprofessional is a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized or small group assistance to students, following teacher-developed plans Support children's engagement with classroom activities and assignments Monitor and encourage student progress, adapting support strategies as needed Assist teachers in maintaining a structured, supportive environment Collaborate with staff to implement behavioral interventions and educational accommodations
