In addition, you desire to be part of something that genuinely makes a difference in children's lives. A Child's Life Learning Center is waiting for you to be part of a team dedicated to learning and teaching tomorrow's leaders. We work with our team through education opportunities and placement to fit his/her goals at the same time maximizing the team dynamic. We have provided quality early childhood learning for 20+ years and want to add a dedicated teacher to our program. This teacher position is full-time, 30-40 hours, 5 days a week. The position is caring for, educating, and empowering toddler children (ages 1-5) for life and school. Teachers are expected to use empowering language and early achiever skills and tools to best prepare the children for their next stage of life.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Being on time
• Being flexible, energetic, and having a great attitude.
• Being creative in making daily schedules and lesson plans.
• Keeping the classrooms clean and organized.
• Maintaining positive interactions and communication with parents/families, & staff
• Supervising child-directed play, serving meals, and supervising nap time
• Following Early Achievers principles
• Change diapers and Laundry.
• Follow all licensing standards and required changes.

Job Requirements:

• 30 hours of Early Achievers Stars program and 30 hours CDA (if you do not have these requirements, it is possible to be hired with a learning plan in place with a deadline of three months)
• Valid infant/child CPR and First Aid Card (or ability to obtain before you start)
• Proof of (or willingness to obtain) a Negative TB Test
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
