Locations:
Issaquah, WA and Bellevue, WA Overview We're a fully outdoor nature based preschool looking for reliable, caring and communicative people to join our teaching team! We're looking for an Assistant Teacher and have options for full time or part time schedules! We also have flexibility with starting at our summer session (now), or next school year (September). There is lots of opportunity for growth with us! Responsibilities Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support for children with diverse learning needs. Engage in literacy education activities that promote reading readiness and language development. Incorporate math concepts into daily activities to enhance children's understanding of numbers and problem-solving. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety while encouraging social interaction. Collaborate with other educators to create an integrated curriculum that supports holistic development. Takes initiative in the classroom setting Is "weather hearty" and able to create an engaging and fun learning environment throughout all seasons.
Qualifications :
Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and teaching team members! A nurturing attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships with students Join our dedicated, close team of outdoor educators who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners!
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
