A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
The person hired will work in all classes with infants through PreK. After hired you will have to have a TB test, apply for a background check, and take several free short online classes. Within 30 days you must get the following cards: CPR, First Aid, Bloodbourne pathogens, HIV/AIDS, and food handlers. Within four month you must take a 30 hour childcare basics class. The person hired will also be required to have or take Early Childhood Education Classes. Scholarships are available for the ECE classes. The right person must; love children, be able to work any time between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday thru Friday, nurture children by supporting the planning and implementation of the educational program and activities, be flexible, and do daily cleaning.
