Job Description

We are hiring a temporary Program Assistant with a well-known local company in Spokane, WA! This position provides high-level administrative and student-facing support in a fast-paced higher education environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent service.   • $24 Per Hour
  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
  • This is a temporary position expected to run through December Responsibilities for the Program Assistant Provide professional, high-level support to students, staff, faculty, and other stakeholders.
Manage competing priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and related logistics. Organize meetings, prepare materials, track follow-up items, and support multiple projects through completion. Assist with planning, coordinating, and managing events. Maintain discretion and protect confidential information at all times.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Program Assistant Background or experience working in higher education. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain professional, and provide excellent service in a student-facing role. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
