JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills Must be able to attend training sessions needed for the position Must have or obtain shaken baby certification and CPR certification (training will be provided if needed) Must be able to work independently Must exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work with children and the public Must be able to maintain confidentiality of staff, students and families Must be able to effectively supervise children using positive guidance techniques Must have a happy, positive demeanor and enjoy working with children Must be able to work cooperatively in a team situation The School District of Amery is a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,200 students in four buildings on one campus. Amery is one of the highest achieving districts in Western Wisconsin. The district encompasses 190+ square miles in Polk and St. Croix Counties, approximately one hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul.
