Job Description:
The School District of Baraboo is seeking applicants for a Regular Education Paraprofessional at Gordon L. Wilson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Approximate start date is August 24, 2026. The regular schedule will be 30+hours per week. Starting minimum compensation is $16.00/hour with benefits. Qualifications:
The ability to work successfully with children is an expectation of this position. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following skills and dispositions: Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting Organizational skills Ability to problem solve Ability to interact in a positive constructive manner with students, district employees, parents and community members The selected candidate must have completed a 2-year degree, 48 hours of coursework or be able to pass the Master Teacher Assessment.
District Description:
The School District of Baraboo is an EC-12 grade district with a 4K program, five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school with a total student population of 2,700 students. The District employs approximately 255 certified teachers and 175 non-certified staff. Baraboo is located in Sauk County and is among the most scenic areas in the state!
