Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff Flexibility to assist with diverse student needs across various grade levels Patience, empathy, and a positive, professional demeanor in the classroom High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or completion of a paraprofessional certification program a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in planning, implementing, and assessing classroom and individualized instruction Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students to reinforce lesson material and foster positive learning outcomes Assist with classroom management, student supervision, and maintaining a respectful, inclusive educational atmosphere Collaborate with special education teams when needed to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) Prepare instructional materials, help with organizational tasks, and assist with classroom activities as directed Communicate clearly with staff and families under the guidance of lead teachers
