9680911-53144 Job Description Empower student growth in a dynamic education setting by supporting classrooms as a dedicated paraprofessional. This contract role offers the opportunity to impact students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for the full 2026-2027 school year. Youll provide essential assistance to learners with special needs, including those with behavioral challenges and intellectual disabilities. Your expertise will be welcomed across varied caseloads and ages, allowing you to develop valuable skills and relationships within a collaborative school environment. Working closely with teachers and educational staff, youll help cultivate positive outcomes for students who benefit from extra support.
Candidate Qualifications:
Current or pending Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) paraprofessional certification (must secure prior to start date) Associates degree, 48+ college credits, or successful completion of the WorkKeys exam (financial reimbursement available for exam) Experience supporting children or adolescents, ideally within special education settings Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to provide a supervisor reference prior to interview
Role Responsibilities:
