Job Description

The School District of Mishicot is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional who is eager to be part of an innovative professional learning community. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special education needs. Candidates must be collaborative, strengths-focused, and committed to the belief that all students can learn and succeed. Individuals with experience providing medical care, as well as those interested in receiving training to provide medical support to students, are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be willing to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to continuously enhance their skills and better support student learning and growth. Paraprofessionals work under the direction of special education teacher to provide: One-on-one support Support within the classroom setting Assistance with behavior management Self-care, medical, and other personal support Opportunities for students to learn skills for independence Part-Time Hours Approximately 27-29 hours per week.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, Special Education Paraprofessional License - The District will assist you in the application process.
