Summary As an Assistant Teacher at Sheboygan County Head Start, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of young children. This position is essential in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth for our students. This position is a Full Time Position with summer's off. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support the development of curriculum tailored to the needs of young children. Provide care and supervision for children during classroom activities and playtime. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress. Assist in assessing children's developmental milestones and needs. Requirements Experience working with young children in an educational setting. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development. Experience working with students with disabilities is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
