Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Infant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Your positive energy and proactive approach will contribute to fostering curiosity, security, and joy in every child's daily experience. Duties Assist in supervising and caring for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to foster strong relationships Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines and transitions Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other caregiving responsibilities as directed by lead teachers Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse and neglect Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork with staff Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging activities and attentive caregivingJoin us in creating a warm, supportive environment where infants can thrive!
