Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Childcare Assistant Teacher/Floater! In this dynamic role, you will provide essential support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging curriculum activities tailored to different age groups, toddlers, and preschoolers. Supervise children closely during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment that promotes learning and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary. Adapt quickly to changing classroom needs by providing flexible coverage across multiple rooms or age groups as assigned. Contribute to positive behavior management strategies that foster respectful interactions among children and staff. Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is highly valued. Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is preferred;but not required upon hire. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse and neglect. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members while maintaining professionalism.
