Job Description

Mountain State Montessori is located in the beautiful Fayetteville, WV next door to the New River Gorge National Park. We are growing rapidly and currently hiring an Upper Elementary Assistant Guide for our 4th - 6th grade classroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about Montessori pedagogy and elementary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing classroom environment and materials Maintaining classroom cleanliness Observing students Supporting independence Guiding daily routines like lunch, recess and rest times and meeting times Assisting with individuals and/or small groups
Required:
Elementary education experience (in classroom/group settings) Interest in Montessori teacher training
Provided:
CPR/First aid training
WV CARES
background check & fingerprinting WV Stars training
Hours:
180 days in class with students, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (30 minute break) Other professional and teacher work days are required throughout the year
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$27,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
