A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Must be available Monday-Friday 1:30-5:30 Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or GED. Must be able to pass background check and protective service check. Duties include but not limited to: Interact, initiate and encourage the children in the activities. Help children control behavior using a positive, appropriate approach, always using consistent techniques. Maintain good communication with parents and to make each parent feel at ease at the center. Develop a cooperative and supportive attitude within the classroom. Function and help build a supportive team.' $10.50 is base pay with no experience. Pay may be more based on credentials and experience. '
