Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our dynamic educational team. In this vital role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, foster a positive learning environment, and assist students with diverse needs. Responsibilities Support classroom instruction by assisting with lesson implementation, including curriculum development in areas such as literacy, math, and early childhood education. Provide physical assistance and behavioral support for students. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and help students succeed in the classroom. Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals. Assist with classroom management and organization to ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for children of various ages, including preschool and toddler care settings. Handle confidential information responsibly. Requirements Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques is desirable. Familiarity with special education practices, including behavior management for students. Ability to support students' needs in a classroom setting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with students. Basic math skills and literacy education experience are preferred to assist in lesson planning and student support activities.
