Want to make a real difference by helping students master high school physics concepts? Join our team as a tutor, and work with students in their homes around the Fayetteville and Springdale areas. We're looking for tutors with experience teaching high school science subjects, especially Physics.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide personalized one-on-one physics tutoring sessions in the students' homes. Develop and implement customized lesson plans to help students understand key physics concepts, such as motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and other physics topics. Assist students with homework, test preparation, and improving problem-solving techniques across various physics topics. Track student progress and send regular feedback to parents through session reports (template provided).
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree or current college student (with a GPA of 3.2 or above in physics or other science-related subjects). Experience tutoring or teaching physics or other high school science subjects is required. Ideally, you live or work within a 30-minute commute of Fayetteville. You're organized, reliable, and show excellent communication skills. A background check, at the applicant's expense, is required. A positive and patient attitude to help students build confidence in their physics skills. In-person tutoring is most likely, but virtual tutoring is also an option (depending on student).
